Tooth Extraction Dry Socket.
A more common postoperative complication for tooth extraction is a dry Socket. A dry socket can delay the normal healing process and results when the newly formed blood clot in the extraction site does not form correctly or is prematurely lost. This blood clot lays the foundation for new tissue and bone to develop over a two-month healing process. A dry socket can be very painful, and you should see a dentist immediately if you feel you may have a dry socket after tooth extraction.

A dental extraction is the removal of a tooth from the mouth. Extractions are performed for a wide variety of reasons. Such as when tooth decay destroys enough of the tooth structure to prevent restoration. This is one of the most frequent indication for extraction of teeth. Periodontal disease (gum disease) and dental trauma are other reason why one may have to have a tooth extraction

New Jersey dental insurance and referrals to specialists. Right now although I do have limited dental benefits though my job it does not offer any benefits if you need to go to a specialist.
My teenage son needs to have his wisdom teeth pulled by an oral surgeon and I am looking for a dental plan that can help me out with the cost of seeing an specialist. Do you have dental insurance where I can take my son to a specialist? If so do you need to have a referral and how long would that process take?

Massachusetts dental insurance, Wisdom teeth extractions. I need to have my two bottom wisdom teeth pulled.  Since these teeth are impacted my current dental insurance plan will not cover for them to be pulled. Is there any good dental insurance plans that I can get to help me have this teeth pull? Without anything I am not sure I can afford it on my own.

sI need a dental plan that does not excludes specialist like my current dental plan I have though my job. I need to have all four of my wisdom teeth pull and it has to be done by a oral surgeon not just a general dentist.  I called around for an idea of cost and getting prices from 500 a tooth.
This is way to costly but I not sure if I can put off having the teeth pulled since right now one really is hurting me.  Are there dental insurance plans that I can get that will cover me seeing an oral surgeon?

I currently only have health insurance but it does not offer me any dental coverages and I need two teeth pulled.  I though that my medical would pay for having teeth pulled if they are bad but was told I have to go to the dentist.
