Caring for your Baby Emerging Teeth and Gums.
Dental care habits start even before your baby cuts their first tooth. This is done by wiping baby gums with a soft damp washcloths after nursing or feeding. There is no need to use toothpaste at this young age just wrap the cloth around your index finger and gently rub it over the baby gums. By doing this it help to serve two purpose. The first is that it helps to remove bacteria in your baby mouth. Although bacteria in the mouth usually can not harm the gums before the teeth emerge, it is still best to clean your baby mouth. Also this help to get your baby used to having his or her mouth clean as part of a daily routine making it easier to transition to using a tooth brush later on.

I have three children. Two boys 3 and 6 and one girl who is 8. Both my husband I and work. I work part time from home and my husband full time. However neither of us have dental insurance.
We been just paying cash up front for our children when the see the dentist. I just that cost is starting to be a factor for all of us to go.  I looking for a better way. We live in Ohio and would love some advise on dental insurance.

I have been trying to help my boy friend get dental insurance for his son. Since I was able to get my boy friend on my dental plan he only needs something for his son who is ten. So far my boy friend has been paying out of pocket for all his son dental needs.
Now however his son is in the middle of braces and is being told he needs to have a few teeth pulled. The cost is just getting higher and higher and he is left with no knowing what to do. His current dentist does not take HMO only PPO which from what I can tell will have waiting period for the very dental service his son needs. Can anyone give us some helpful advise
