The dental insurance plans we offer that state choose your own dentist are Indemnity dental insurance plans.
They are not PPO dental plans but will still let you stay with your current dentist without any problems.
The main difference is that on a PPO dental insurance plan they do have network provider that they would prefer for you to use. However you are able to go outside there dental provider and go to whatever dentist you want to. Sometimes at a reduce coverage so that why when reveiwing a dental PPO plan you want to know what the inside and outside network coverages are.
On the choose your own dentist plans or Indemnity plans there is no net work providers you really just go to any dentist you want. Therefore coverages are the same regardless of the dentist you choose to go to.
