Maine Dental Discount plan for major dental work
I haven’t been to the dentist since I was last on my parents dental insurance plan over six years ago. I know I need some major dental work. I am not in pain or anything I just know that my teeth are not in good shape.
I am not sure if I should get a dental insurance plan with its waiting period and yearly max and just have the dental work done a little at a time. Or if I would be better off getting a dental discount plan for the dental saving so that I can have my dental work done all at once. Which way in the long run would be cheaper?

I would say that really depends on you and what you feel you can afford. Both plans options are good but even with a dental discount plan you may sitll have to do dental work as you can afford to do so.
The question may be if you are trying to stay with a dental office then you would need to get a dental plan that the dental office accepts.
If it was my choice I would go with a dental discount plans. They are more affordable and I get my dental saving right away with no waiting periods.
If my dental needs were great like your I would know going into either plan I may have to wait for dental services to be done depending on what I could afford. At that point why not get a less costly plan so I can save money there and put more into my dental services I may need to have.
But hey that me and what I would do .
