Dental Insurance Plus – Should I Keep My Dental Insurance
I currently have dental insurance, my teeth have always been in good shape with no issues. Under my current insurance plan I do get free preventive care. I have never needed more the prevent care services. The cost of the insurance is higher the the cost of preventive care services at my dentist. Seems to me the insurance plan is not worth having. So wondering if I should bother keeping it.
Reply: The choice is yours. As you stated right now your dentist cost for preventive care is less then the cost of your insurance plan. As long as you will not need larger dental care issues cancelling your insurance to save money may make sense. However the issues is we can not foretell the future. If a day, month, year or years latter you need larger dental care services, would it have been better for you to keep the plan? That is the question you will want to think about.
