I am in need of having two root canals and I can not have a waiting period. Since my dentist told me the longer I wait the more likelihood that I will lose the teeth. I will also need them crowned so can you tell me what plan offers full converges with no waiting periods.

See if your current dentist is a provider of any dental discount plans. That way you can hopefully keep your current dentist and get the reduced or discounted saving for your current dental needs.

The way PPOs and Indemnity dental insurance plans work is that you have the in place before you start needing major dental care. If you are wanting to stay with your dentist this may become an issue for you.
What is left would be dental discount plans or possible HMO insurance plans both normally do not have waiting periods but you have to choose or go to a plan provider.
Waiting until you need dental work to get dental insurance is a mistake many people make. It is like waiting to get into a car accident before getting auto insurance.
I suggest getting insurance now even if it not best suited to your current dental needs. That way in the future you are not in the same position you are currently in.

What does full coverage mean to you? The words full coverage is too broad in it meaning.
Such as: If you are looking for a dental insurance plan that has no waiting periods and would offer you two root canals and crowns for free and that is what full coverage means to you then good luck with that.
However if you only mean that you want to have some coverages on root canals and crowns without the waiting periods
Then you may want to review the dental discount plans and HMOs dental insurance and see which one would have the best co pay or coverage cost for you on those types of dental services.

There is another factor here to look at too. The question would also be is if you can have the root canal done by a general dentist or if you have to go to an Endodontic specialist.
Reason being is that on many HMO dental insurance plans they may not offer coverages for Specialist so that is something to be aware of before buying an HMO dental insurance plan.

I do agree with Troy about HMO dental insurance plans and it is very important to read any plans terms and conditions so you are fully aware of what is and is not covered.
That why at this point I think your best best is going to be a dental discount plan. Reason being is that you will get a discounted saving for any type of dental work that has to be done as long as there is a dentist in the network that does the dental services you are looking for. That includes any specialist you may want to go to.
May I suggest that you look at some of the dental plans and dental insurance that are available to you on this website. Just enter your zip in the box at the top of each screen. Do not forget that if you have any questions about the plans available that you can call member services and they will be more then happy to help you pick the best plan for yourself.
